SEVILLE

PALACE

MAIN POST AND TELEGRAPH OFFICE

The Seville Palace of Communications was inaugurated in 1927, coinciding with the urban expansion driven by the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition.

The project was designed by Madrid architects Joaquín Otamendi Machimbarrena and Luis Lozano.

The building reflects Seville’s growth during the first decades of the 20th century and embodies the desire to give the city a representative institutional architecture befitting the importance of postal communications at the time. paragraph
